Mom’s Guacamole

You may have noticed from some of the other recipes that I’ve posted like this salsa verde, salsa chicken, refried beans, or chicken tortilla soup that my family LOVES Mexican food.

We could eat it almost every day!

For the last few days, my daughter has been begging me to make guacamole and then I realized that I’ve never even published a recipe  for it. That’s probably because it’s so simple to make and I just kind of throw it together and we eat it.

Here’s how I make my guacamole:

Mom’s Guacamole


4 large avocados, ripe
2 tomatoes, sliced
1 white onion, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
juice from 1 lime


Using a fork, mash avocado.
Stir in tomatoes, onion, cilantro and garlic.
Squeeze lime juice over top and stir.
