Spinach is one of the most amazing super foods out there.  It’s a powerhouse of nutrients and contains very few calories and is naturally fat-free and cholesterol-free.  Spinach is extremely versatile too – you can eat it raw or cooked, mix it in a smoothie, add it to a salad, or add it to eggs for breakfast.  With only 27 calories per cup of the leafy green, it’s a diet-friendly food too.  And it’s loaded with protein, iron, magnesium, potassium, folate and calcium as well as vitamins A and K.
