3 Ingredient Bacon Wrapped Maple Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Maple-Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients:

  • 1 pork tenderloin
  • 10 – 12 slices of bacon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Make sure to adjust the oven rack to the middle position.
  2. Lay the bacon slices out on a baking sheet with raised edges. This will help catch any juices that might come from the pork during cooking.
  3. Place the pork tenderloin on the baking sheet, top down, near the ends of the bacon slices.
  4. Carefully wrap each slice of bacon around the pork tenderloin. The goal is to have each slice of bacon positioned in the middle of the bottom of the tenderloin. The bacon will help keep the tenderloin moist and add a wonderful smoky flavor.
  5. Once all the bacon slices are wrapped around the tenderloin, roll the entire assembly so that the end of the bacon ends up on the bottom side of the tenderloin. This will help secure the bacon in place during cooking.
  6. Flip the wrapped pork tenderloin over and place it bottom down on the baking sheet.
  7. Using a pastry brush, generously brush the maple syrup over the top and sides of the pork tenderloin. The maple syrup will caramelize during cooking, creating a sweet and savory glaze.
  8. Place the baking sheet with the pork tenderloin in the preheated oven. Roast the pork for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius). This is the recommended safe temperature for pork, ensuring it’s thoroughly cooked while remaining juicy.
  9. Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the oven and allow it to rest for about 10 minutes. Resting the meat allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more succulent and tender final dish.
  10. After the resting period, slice the Maple-Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin into medallions. The combination of the bacon’s crispiness, the caramelized maple glaze, and the tender pork inside will create a delightful eating experience.

Serve your Maple-Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin slices as a mouthwatering main course, accompanied by your favorite sides. Enjoy the sweet and savory flavors in each bite!
