Serves 6
Ingredients:
- 6 pork chops
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely minced
- 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/3 cup vegetable broth
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ingredients: Start by cleaning the pork chops, and mince the garlic cloves finely to ensure their flavors are well-distributed during the cooking process.
- Bagging the Ingredients: Using a gallon-size freezer bag (preferably the zipper type for optimal sealing), place the pork chops inside. Next, add the finely minced garlic, teriyaki sauce, and vegetable broth to the bag.
- Seal and Store: Ensure that the bag is well-sealed to prevent any leakage or air from getting in. Gently massage the bag to mix the ingredients and marinate the pork chops evenly. Place the bag flat in the freezer.
- Thaw: When ready to cook, remove the bag from the freezer and thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Make sure to place the bag in a dish or on a tray to catch any potential drips.
- Cook in Crock Pot: Pour the contents of the bag, including all the marinating liquid, into a crock pot. Spread the pork chops out evenly. Set the crock pot to cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve: Once done, the pork chops should be tender and flavorful. Plate them up and pour some of the teriyaki-infused broth over them. Serve with steamed rice or your favorite side dish.
