Glazed Salmon

Delight your taste buds with this sweet and savory Glazed Salmon recipe. The coconut palm sugar, combined with the tang of lemon and richness of the wine, creates a mouth-watering glaze that beautifully complements the salmon’s flavors.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15-20 minutes

Total Time: 25-30 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup coconut palm sugar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons all-natural soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons white wine (or water) – Tip: Wine adds depth and flavor, but water is a great alternative.
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Begin by setting your oven to preheat at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Prepare the Glaze: In a small mixing bowl, combine the coconut palm sugar, olive oil, soy sauce, fresh lemon juice, and white wine. Stir the mixture well until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Arrange the Salmon: Lightly grease the bottom of a baking dish using a mist of oil. Place the salmon fillets in the dish with the skin side down.
  4. Glaze the Salmon: Generously coat each salmon fillet with the prepared glaze. Ensure that each fillet is completely covered for maximum flavor.
  5. Bake: Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven. Allow the salmon to bake for approximately 15-20 minutes. To enhance the flavor, periodically baste the fillets with the excess glaze collected in the dish during baking.
  6. Serve: Once the salmon is fully cooked and has a beautiful glazed look, remove it from the oven. Garnish each fillet with fresh lemon slices and serve immediately.

Tips:

  • The internal temperature of the salmon should reach 145°F (63°C) to be considered fully cooked.
  • Pair this dish with a light salad, quinoa, or roasted vegetables to make it a full meal.
  • If you have leftover wine, enjoy a glass with your salmon. The flavors will pair beautifully!

Enjoy your meal!
